Before a deal can be submitted

Every Vero deal must meet all three. If one is missing, the deal doesn't go in.

TDLR registration

You must be registered with TDLR as a Solar Salesperson, working under Vero. Required since September 1, 2026.

Brochure 24 hours before signing

The customer must have the TDLR brochure at least 24 hours before they sign. Send it from this page so we have proof.

Disclosure form first

TDLR's disclosure form must be signed by you and the customer before the contract.

Already handled: it's sent with our agreements.

Customers 65+ or not fluent in English: give them a printed copy of the completed disclosure form. 16 TAC §71.41(e)

Required since September 1, 2026. Renews every year. Registrations can't be transferred.

On every appointment

If the customer asks, give your name and TDLR registration number, plus Vero's name, contact info and registration number.
The installer must be a Texas-licensed electrical contractor, named with license number in the contract.
Never make a false or misleading statement, and correct any misunderstanding you notice.
Avoid what TDLR warns customers about: “free” solar, pressure tactics, “price ends soon.”

Why we log every send

Proof if Texas asks

Texas requires us to keep deal records for the life of the contract and warranty, plus 5 years, and to hand them to TDLR on request (16 TAC §71.50). Every email sent here is saved permanently: who sent it, to whom, the exact time, the exact message, and a fingerprint of the attached brochure. A copy also goes to Vero's inbox.
